Norwegian Cruise Line Adds Ship to Miami Port in 2014

Norwegian Cruise Line opened bookings for summer 2014 and in doing so, will be adding the Norwegian Getaway to the Port of Miami. The Getaway, a 4,000-passenger vessel, will be joining the Norwegian Sky which currently embarks from Miami.

In all, Norwegian will operate 13 ships in 2014 including the Norwegian Pride of America which sails from Hawaii and the Norwegian Gem which sails from New York.

In the next two years, Norwegian reports they will expand their capacity by more than 25% with the addition of the Norwegian Breakaway in May of 2013 and sister ship Norwegian Getaway in February 2014.
