Morikami Japanese Gardens and Museum
In this edition, we day-trip to the Boca Raton area in Delray Beach, Florida to find peace and tranquility at Morikami Japanese Gardens and Museum.
Morikami’s gardens, named Roji-en: Garden of the Drops of Dew, were designed to be a living exhibit as an extension of the museum. Its six distinct gardens are inspired by, but are not replicas of, significant gardens in Japan. Designer Hoichi Kurisu has created a unique garden experience conceived and constructed in the spirit of the masters.
While strolling the gardens, you’ll observe an array of wildlife on land, in water, and in the air. Walking through bamboo groves, rock gardens, and scenic bridges, Morikami Gardens will help you find your inner peace bringing you one with nature.
If you’re visiting Florida and you want to spend a few hours relaxing, Morikami Gardens is a great destination for your day-trip, cruise excursion, or even overnighting in the Boca Raton area.
